UAV – Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
UAV servey’s to civil engineering are second to none, with vast experience gained on major projects throught the UK and internationally
Combining traditional Land Surverying skill with state of the art UAV data capture, we are able to offer best in class accuracy and results. Using the most advanced technology within the market, our drone surveys can help you with difficult tasks that you may have at hand.
Roof inspections can be very time consuming, costly and are usually within inaccessible areas. With our drones it makes any inspection possible.
UAV Film Company have Permission to Fly For Commercial Operation (PFCO) as awarded by the Civil Aviation Authority (the CAA). The CAA regulate UK airspace for all aircraft – both manned and unmanned – and ensure strict legislation is adhered to before issuing a PFCO.
Flying outside of CAA regulations is a criminal offence that is dealt with by the police. In addition to flying during daylight hours, we also have permission to fly at night.
It is also a legal requirement that all commercial drone pilots have current Public Liability insurance in place and conduct themselves in line with their Flight Operations Manual as approved by the CAA.
Our main priority in everything we do is safety first. We have many years experience in all aspects of imaging working with organisations and publications at National and local levels. We write Risk Assessments for each flight at each location, check airspace classification and contact all relevant authorities including military, police and civilian. Sharing information, seeking permission and showing intent is essential in keeping our shared airspace safe.
All our pilots are fully experienced and fly various Unmanned Aerial Vehicles according to operational brief and image quality requirements.
